Roadtrip: Oktoberfest Tulsa- We are on our way!

Posted by Denise Gouge on

It's less than one week away from the Linde Tulsa Oktoberfest Oct 22-25 and the new layout of the park is going to be awesome!  It will be a FUN week in the great state of Oklahoma and we are especially looking forward to sharing a HUGE tent with our dear friends and fellow Oktoberfest road warriors, Bob and Paula Kager, owners of the Kuckucksnest. Both of our businesses are located in Texas (we are from Bremond while Bob & Paula hail from Fredericksburg) but we reunite at most of the large Oktoberfest celebrations across Texas and now Oklahoma!

It will be a match made in German heaven as the Kuckucksnest specializes in authentic & traditional German lederhosen, dirndls and hats while Oktoberfest Depot specializes in authentic German drinkware including glass beer boots, dimpled glass mugs, hand-crafted beer steins and the funnest, hippest Oktoberfest themed Tshirts you will find.  Our sister company, TSG Warehouse, will also be with us rounding out the selection with other heritage gifts including unique gifts from Poland, Czech Republic, Ireland & Scotland.  Now THAT is one FUN booth so you MUST stop by and see us while you are there!

The Tulsa Oktoberfest, boasts more than SIX ENORMOUS tents to party in! Each one is sponsored by a different German beer (bier) and believe us when we say it is an amazing experience to be a part of!! Oktoberfest Tulsa brings in bands from all over the world to entertain the masses. Thousands of voices sing along to the sounds of "Sweet Caroline" and, of course, "Roll Out the Barrel"!  FIVE days of Activities and Entertainment all set in a gorgeous park on the river with the city of Tulsa skyline as a backdrop! You can't beat it.

Year after year, this amazing festival receives great accolades from countless press articles including Conde Nast Traveler Magazine, USA Today & Orbitz!  And each year we look forward to making new friends, meeting new people and visiting with all the returning customers we meet with annually.  We laugh, we mingle, we sell some things, we dance around, we drink some German beer, eat some fantastic German food then repeat...and they call this work.

So with all that said, we are heading out soon with a fully loaded truck and trailer and asking for prayers for safe travels...AND, if you are curious and brave enough, come on up to Tulsa for a German Festival Experience like no other!! Bring your friends, bring your family. And come Prost with us!
